Light Touch Landscape Design

The brief

To create a beautiful garden that makes the most of the setting, enhances the space as well as offers greater accessibility to all parts of the garden.

The space

A large country garden on a hillside that surrounds the house on all sides. A wood of similar aged birch trees sits on the upper most slope and a SSI and burn border the boundary to one side.

The design solutions

Our design solutions offer flow and ease of access throughout the space and create an immersive feel in different areas. They also link the house and garden to the wider landscape. The planting close to the house and at the entrance border will be more ornamental, getting wilder and more natural beyond the house.

This garden is currently under construction and more information will be added along with photographs in due course.
